Depot Café
Since the Depot was founded, the café has been an integral part of it—a place to meet before and after events, to arrive, linger, and chat. It is a bar, café, and gathering place all in one—open to everyone.
The Depot Café is located in the heart of Vienna, in the 7th district, right behind the Museumsquartier and just a short walk from Mariahilfer Straße.
Since November 2025, it has been run by sisters Anna and Maria and welcomes guests in a pleasant, warm atmosphere. It’s the ideal spot for a glass of wine after work or a delicious organic coffee (Prem Frischkaffee), accompanied by a slice of homemade cake. Here, you can enjoy a brief break from city life right in the heart of Vienna.
The small but excellent wine list offers a selection of wines from female winemakers in Lower Austria and Styria. The snack menu, featuring toasts (classic, or with kimchi or onion jam) or fresh, homemade cake, is perfect for satisfying a small appetite.
A glass of house-made vermouth makes the perfect digestif. For entertainment, try a game of backgammon or Scrabble—the game collection is extensive and constantly growing!
Events at the Café
The café can be booked for private parties or events, including catering. Options include rolls, fresh tramezzini, focaccia, a variety of cakes and pies, as well as extensive finger food buffets.
